Every template

Limits are per site. Upgrades apply immediately; to move a site back to the free plan it has to fit within the free limits.

Yearly plans are billed once a year at 12 times the monthly rate minus 25%. Paid plans are subscriptions: they renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel from the dashboard. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record; any VAT or sales tax for your country is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Billing FAQ

The fine print, in plain words.

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It has no time limit and needs no card. It is the plan for a small site on a folio.page address; upgrade only if you need what the paid plans add.

What does "per site" mean?

Each site in your account has its own plan. One account can hold several sites, and you choose a plan for each one, so a side project can stay free while your main portfolio is on Pro.

Do I need a paid plan to publish?

No. A free site publishes on its folio.page address as soon as you confirm your email, and stays published for as long as you like. Paid plans add a custom domain, more room and the blog, not the right to be online.

Can I change plans later?

Upgrades are immediate: pick the higher plan from the dashboard, pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current period, and the new limits apply at once. There is no downgrade in place. To move a site to a cheaper plan, cancel the subscription, let the paid period run out, move the site to the free plan once it fits the free limits, and subscribe to the plan you want from there.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Monthly to yearly is an upgrade, so it happens at once and you pay the difference. Yearly to monthly is a step down, so it follows the cancel route: the yearly plan runs to the end of its period, then you can subscribe monthly.

Is there a free trial of Pro or Max?

No. The free plan is the way to try FolioPage, with the same editor and templates. If you upgrade and it turns out not to be what you need, any payment can be refunded within 14 days.

Are paid plans a subscription?

Yes. Pro and Max renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the dashboard: the plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

What happens to my site if I cancel?

Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, visitors see a short notice that the site is not available instead of your pages, until you move the site to the free plan (it needs to fit the free limits first, and the dashboard shows exactly what to trim), resubscribe, or delete it. Nothing is deleted automatically, and your content, media and domain settings stay in the dashboard.

What is your refund policy?

Any payment can be refunded within 14 days of the payment date, no questions asked. Details are in the refund policy.

Which payment methods and currencies do you accept?

Cards and the local methods Paddle offers in your country. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which runs the checkout, calculates any tax and issues your invoices, so the charge shows on your statement under the name Paddle.net. Prices are shown in USD here; EUR is available at checkout and is the same amount.

Do you offer discounts for students or teams?

Not yet. If you are a school, a course or a studio with several people, get in touch and we will work something out.
