About Prism

Prism is a one-page site for a small branding agency, built for the studio whose product is a decision about color. It is dark, sharp and unmistakably contemporary: a near-black ground so the work is the only saturated thing on the page, one electric violet doing every link, button and active state, and Kanit set tight over Catamaran for reading.

The homepage opens on a drawn prism throwing a stack of colored rays, each one a client with its color printed at the end. From there it runs a logo wall where every cell carries a solid band of that client's own color, a grid of case studies whose covers hold back in gray until you touch them, a color register that turns the whole client list into one continuous spectrum down the page with the argument that won each hue written beside it, and a full naming round published in the open, rejected candidates struck through and the winner boxed. Services stack as full-width bands tinted with their own colors and priced from. The process walks along a beam that changes color as it travels. The studio's position is published as a bordered card with a revision line, followed by the four faces, the figures, references filed against the job each came off, and an FAQ.

The site closes on an enquiry form that asks for a color first: a row of swatches you pick from before you type anything, posted to the studio with the brief.

The Portfolio app is wired and full: nine projects in four disciplines, four images each, with a client, year, sector, services and color recorded against every one. Its index reads that color and turns the archive into a range, with a gamut strip across the head and covers duotoned in each project's own hue.

The chrome carries the same idea: a sticky header closing on a full-width spectrum rule of every client color, a mobile menu that marks each link with a colored chip, and a colophon footer naming the typefaces.

Change the ten colors and the entire site changes with them.
