About Solstice

Solstice is a one-page template for an event or wedding planning studio, built around the one thing that separates a good planner from an enthusiastic one: the schedule. Where most planning sites open on a mood board, this one opens on a day. A hairline spine runs the full width of the hero with a timed cue hanging off it every few columns, the ceremony marked in the accent, and the studio's claim set beside a framed photograph.

Further down, the day is published in full. A ruled run sheet gives every hour its cue, a line about it and the crew it belongs to, with a noon weather call set back as a hold, exactly as a working document does. The planning year is then counted down rather than up, from fourteen months out to a final card that fills solid in the accent and reads "the day." Services are laid out as the numbered departments of a call sheet, each with its line items and the hours it typically takes.

The work sits in the Portfolio app and comes back to the homepage as printed slips: a head row carrying the date and a slip number above the cover, then the venue and guest count in a ruled foot ledger. The full register is a ruled table of every event, and each detail page never crops the lead photograph. A gallery of details credits the maker under every plate, because the florist, the printer and the calligrapher did that part. The studio spread is an open ring binder with a punched gutter and a tab; the figures sit inside drawn clock dials; the client words are copied out of a guest book onto ruled lines; and the inquiry closes the page as a booking slip whose fields are ruled rather than boxed, asking first for the date.

The design is warm plaster and white paper with near-black ink and one stationery blue, set in a high-contrast serif over a plain grotesque, with mono figures wherever a time or a number is printed. It suits planners, venues, production companies and caterers, and wants photographs of real days rather than styled shoots.
