Any payment you make for a paid plan can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the payment date. This article summarises the refund terms; the full wording is in section 5 of our Terms of Service, which is what applies if anything here is unclear.

The 14-day refund window

You can request a full refund of any payment within 14 days of the date of that payment, for any reason. This applies to every payment for a paid plan: the first payment, renewals, and upgrades.

How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your FolioPage account, or contact Paddle, our Merchant of Record, directly at paddle.net.
  2. Tell us which site and which payment the refund concerns (the site's folio.page address and the payment date are enough).

Refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days.

What happens to the site

When a payment is refunded, the subscription ends immediately and the site returns to the Free plan limits. See What happens when a site moves to Free for what that means for your pages, media and paid features.

Outside the 14 days

If you want to stop paying but your last payment is more than 14 days old, cancel the subscription instead. The site keeps its paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged. See Cancel a subscription.

Consumer rights

Nothing in the refund terms limits the rights that mandatory consumer protection law gives you, including any right to withdraw from a distance contract.

If you think a charge is wrong

Contact us first, or email the address above, so we can look into it. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without contacting us may result in the affected site being suspended until the dispute is resolved.
