About Lidia

Lidia is a one-page template for a digital artist who wants the file taken as seriously as the picture. The hero stands one finished painting on a stack of offset plates named for the passes it was built from, prints its file line underneath, and gives the artist's name, the work's label and two links the column beside it.

Under that the page runs like a practice, not a gallery reel. An artist statement is set over one work washed in at a few percent. The works arrive as a packed masonry grid, each with the year beside its title and its medium, size and edition printed as a two-column register read straight off the portfolio item. A process section opens the hero painting back into its four passes, stepping down the page, and a detail section prints six crops at one hundred percent with the file each came from.

The lower half is the business. A portrait and the biography, an exhibitions CV grouped into solo shows, group shows, prizes, residencies and collections, a quiet press list, then the commissions block: three kinds of work with what each includes, a starting price, a turnaround and a run of slot marks saying how many places are left this season. Editions follow, every print drawn with a tick per copy and the sold ones filled. A grouped FAQ answers commissions, printing and rights separately, and the page closes on a ruled brief where every question sits on its own row.

The design is cool porcelain with near-black ink and one ink-violet accent, set in Gothic A1 over Mulish, with hairlines instead of boxes and no shadows, so the paintings supply all the color on the page. The header keeps a clear-space box around the wordmark.
