About Livia

Livia is a one-page template for logo and brand identity designers, built for the part of the trade a normal portfolio theme cannot show: not just the finished mark, but the system around it and the thinking underneath.

The whole site reads as the designer's own brand manual. Every mark stands alone and centered on a white specimen card, ruled with hairline construction guides, so nothing is cropped the way a photograph would be. The homepage opens on a single symbol drawn on its circle grid, with the drawing record beside it: discipline, grid, what gets delivered, the smallest size it has to survive.

From there it runs the spreads a real identity ships with. A mark wall presents ten commissions at the size a client meets them. A lockup set shows one mark in four arrangements on a shared field, so the minimum widths read against each other. A page of rejected roughs puts the discarded studies on the table and says why each one died. A do-and-don't board demonstrates the rules by breaking them, six wrong versions beside the correct one.

Around that sit the commercial pieces: three lines of work with real figures, a four-stage program bar, a studio spread, four named referees, awards and press, and a brief form that asks where the mark has to be reproduced rather than what it should look like.

The design is quiet so the work is not. Paper gray ground, white cards, black artwork and a single process-magenta hairline used as a guide line rather than decoration. Jost sets the headings, Public Sans carries the text, every specification label is monospaced. Corners are square, shadows off, and the header frames the studio name in its own clear-space box.

The Portfolio app is wired and filled, with a mark-wall index and a detail template laid out as a small manual: a title block ledger, the mark on its specimen card, then numbered plates. Resume, Links and Blog are off; turn them on from the Apps screen.
