About Lucia
Lucia is a one-page showcase for a set designer, prop stylist or still-life art director - anyone whose work is the world a product is photographed in. The homepage opens straight on the work: a masonry wall of forty frames pulled from inside every gallery, filtered by category chips, every picture linking to its own set. No headline, no buttons, nothing to read before the pictures.
Under the wall, each campaign is filed as a paint chip of the backdrop it was shot on: the cover sits inset on a field painted in that color, with the color's name and hex printed under it. Then the short strips a picture-led site needs - an about block with a portrait, sixty words, tag chips and the four stages of a job on one ruled line; three services as ruled columns with a day rate and a lead time each; a client roster with the year each relationship began; and a shoot-request form set as one strip of fields with the brief beneath it.
The design is the studio's cyc wall: a seamless-paper gray ground, white surfaces, ink text and one studio green for links, buttons and the active menu item, so the work carries every other color. Alata headings over Karla body text, a square floating header with a booking status and a call-to-action, a halo-style desktop menu, a bottom-sheet mobile menu and a footer that is the navigation under one big line.
The Portfolio app is on with ten galleries of ten images each, filed under four categories, using the masonry index and the showcase detail template. Resume, Links and Blog are off. Every image and every word is yours to replace.
