FolioPage sends two kinds of email: messages about your account and billing, which you always receive, and optional updates you can switch off. The switches live in your profile and save the moment you flip them.

Change your preferences

  1. Click your avatar in the dashboard and choose Profile.
  2. Scroll to the Notifications card.
  3. Flip the switch next to a category. There is no save button - each change is stored immediately.

Emails you always receive

Some messages exist to protect your account or to tell you about money and data, so they are not affected by the switches above. We send them to the email address on your account whenever the event happens:

  • Security: your password was changed or reset, or the email address on your account changed. When the address changes, both the old and the new address are told.
  • Confirmation: the welcome email and any confirmation link you request for your email address.
  • Billing: a subscription was activated or upgraded, a subscription was cancelled, or a payment failed.
  • Site deletion: a site was deleted, and a reminder shortly before a deleted site is permanently removed.

Note: These messages are the only way you would find out about a change you did not make. If you receive one you do not recognise, reset your password straight away and contact us through the contact page.

Where the emails come from

Messages are sent from [email protected]. Replies still reach a person: hitting Reply on any of them goes to our support inbox. Add the address to your contacts if our messages keep landing in spam.

Emails from your own site

Messages sent through a contact form on your published site are a separate thing. They go to the Form submission email you set in the site's Settings (or to your account email if you leave it empty) and are not affected by these preferences. See Not receiving form messages? if they are missing.
