About Callum

Callum is a showcase template for aerial and drone photographers, and for any photographer whose work should be seen at size before a word is read. The homepage opens on a light table: a wall of thirty-six photographs laid in justified rows at their natural ratios, nothing cropped, with a loupe that follows the mouse and shows the full-size file magnified. A click opens the frame in a lightbox.

Under the wall come the galleries: a bento of square covers at two sizes, each printing the gallery's category, the altitude and the platform it was flown from, and the frame count. Every cover opens a full gallery in the Portfolio app - eleven of them in the demo, from shorelines and salt lakes to rooftops and cities after dark - each with a spec bar of altitude, platform, season and client above the frames.

Then three short strips: an about block with a portrait set in a slide mount, clearance chips and four facts; three services as one ruled line each with a from-price; and a contact block that leads with the email and keeps the form behind a toggle.

The design stays out of the way of the pictures: a white ground, ink type, no accent color at all, Questrial for the name and menu and Karla for the text. The header is the name over four links, the footer is the menu again under a "Work with me" line, and the mobile menu opens like a lens iris.
