Lifestory - Personal portfolio template

About Lifestory

LifeStory is a one-page personal template for anyone whose life is best told in pictures - a retired field scientist, a traveler, a grandparent with forty years of holidays on film. It is built like a slide night: a near-black ground, a glacier-blue accent and light card mounts, so every photograph glows the way a projected slide does in a darkened room.

The homepage opens on a single mounted slide with a typed label, lit from behind by a soft projector glow, with your name and one line under it. Below it is the wall: thirty slides in card mounts with labels and a slight tilt, each opening a lightbox. Then come the trays - every set in your portfolio as a numbered carousel tray with a notched rail, scrolling sideways - a short about strip with your portrait in a mount, typed chips and a ruled facts register, three offers as one ruled line each, and a minimal contact form. The footer is the foot of a tray, with the menu as a numbered index and a note for the next showing.

The Portfolio app is wired as galleries: each item is one set of slides, shown as a masonry wall on the index and as a slideshow on its own page, filed under categories you name - decades, places, chapters. Type is Merriweather for headings, Source Sans Pro for text and IBM Plex Mono for the menu and every label, so the whole site reads like slides typed and filed by hand.
