About Simplyme

SimplyMe is a one-page personal website template written as an encyclopedia article about you, for founders, writers and anyone whose name gets searched and who wants the answer to read like a reference entry rather than a sales page.

The page opens on your name as its title, a one-line description and a short third-person introduction beside a fact box: a captioned portrait, then ruled rows for where you were born, where you live, your education, your work, what you are known for and how to reach you. Under the introduction, a numbered contents box lists every section on the page and updates itself when you rename, add or reorder one.

The article follows in plain sections - early life, career, each company or project in turn, writing, personal life - each with an optional captioned thumbnail. Type a number in square brackets anywhere in the text and it becomes a small citation link to the matching entry in the numbered references at the foot of the page. Two data tables carry what a paragraph cannot: your ventures with years and figures, and a dated timeline. A works list, See also and External links, and a categories line with a "last edited" date close the page.

The design is quiet and bookish: PT Serif headings with thin rules beneath them, PT Sans text, a white page with light gray panels and one link blue for every link and citation. The mobile menu opens as a small contents box. The Resume app is wired in, with a full curriculum vitae and a downloadable PDF linked from the external links.
